Energize.

Cleansing crystals are one thing, making them ready for use is another. Think of it similar to being hungry; if you are, you feed yourself, right? A freshly cleansed crystal is a really hungry body.
What's the actual point to energizing? Crystals are powerful healers, but they need help, too.
"They are basically empty vessels," says Leslie Gera, owner of Mother Earth Gallery.
Music is the key: whether it's with your favorite playlist, Tibetan brass bowls, crystal bowls, or tuning forks, music is the food that rejuvenates the crystals. With only a few minutes of music therapy, your crystals are ready to go!

Tibetan and crystal singing bowls are used with a thick wand wrapped in suede. Tibetan bowls require a gentle tap to summon the note that is amplified as the wand carries it around the bowl's outer rim; crystal bowls (quartz) do not require a tap, merely apply a little pressure to the outer rim and let the wand draw the note out. Tuning forks are metal, and require a tap to sound; they are made with two prongs, and are sometimes made with wheel-like bases.
Each item are tuned to different notes (C,D,E,F,G, A, and B) just as the chakras are, and any tool sounding the same note will correspond to the same chakra (i.e. a tuning fork sounding the G-note will "tune" Throat chakra).
