The stunning Das grew up in the UK with her Indian and Malaysian parents, and has modeled for Yours Clothing and Nubian Skin, among others. Bishamber Das is a 30 year old British model who made history in 2014 as the first plus size model to win a title at the international Miss India Europe competition that year. She has been standing strong against the issue of body shaming and is on the continuous grind to normalize body shapes of all sorts ever since.

Growing up in a British-Asian community with an alcoholic, abusive father, she turned to food for comfort, and subsequently struggled with her self-image. However, destiny had something else in store for her. Today she is one of the most sought after plus size models in the world and is also UK’s first Asian plus-size model.
