The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that’s works with the Madison Square Garden Company to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles.
Since 2006, the foundation partnered with MSG has brightened the lives of more than 300,000 children and their families. Committed to change, impact and positivity, the foundation hosts more than 500 events and programs a year.
On Monday, November 28th, 13 year-old Michael Young from the Garden of Dreams was an honorary player of the day for the Knicks. Young led the Knicks out for team warm-ups, and heard his name announced in front of a sold out Madison Square Garden, during pregame introductions.
Young’s favorite player is Knicks point guard, Derrick Rose, and they met and took a picture prior to the game. Young was able to spend some time with the team at a practice, where he was able to meet each player, get some autographs and take some shots on the court as well.
