And Yet Another is Copper

I think it's safe to say we've all seen copper bracelets at some point in our lives, whether we've ever owned one or simply seen them in a store. We see copper infused braces and socks, copper cookware, pennies, and copper wire; the list is far too long.

Yes, copper is another metal crystal.

Copper jewelry is one of the most recognizable forms of this metal (aside from the penny, of course) and has been known to help with blood circulation. Arnold Palmer wore them for a time and really put them in the limelight.

"The magnets [in copper jewelry] bring oxygenated blood to parts of the body that have been damaged to help them heal," says Leslie Gera, owner of Mother Earth Gallery in New Milford.

Circulation is a common problem, more so in the colder months for many individuals, and copper can help it. Always consult your doctor for treatment if the problem is serious.

As a crystal, the metaphysical properties include improving awareness and expanding consciousness, especially if you find yourself feeling a mental block. You can also place arrangements of copper "with malachite to cleanse and harmonize personal space" (Crystals by Jennie Harding ) such as a bedroom.
